Christine and Paul Ames and their black Labrador 'Magic' welcome you to our peaceful and picturesque cottage situated in park-like grounds, adjacent to the New Forest where we have been offering quality Bed and Breakfast to guests for 20 years! Ashurst is a small village on the east side of the New Forest 3 miles from Lyndhurst, the 'capital village' of the New Forest and 6 miles from Southampton.
Travel to Ashurst is easy: by road - we are approximately one and a half hours from London: by rail - Ashurst (The New Forest) station on the mainline from London Waterloo to Poole via Southampton is five minutes walk: by air Southampton and Bournemouth airports are both within half an hour drive with Southampton having a rail connection through the New Forest. There is a small car park at the cottage for guest cars and bicycles can be safely stored.
